About

Built by a trader,
for a market that never sits still.

Jack Garvin, founder of Spreadwatt

Founder

Jack Garvin

Jack is based in London and works at a top hedge fund — one of the world's most successful and selective, known for its demanding hiring bar. He studied at the University of Warwick (2012–2015).

Before Spreadwatt he founded Qwork, a virtual queueing app for barbershops that signed up more than 5,000 customers with no advertising, and built Market Watch, a live markets site with its own test-mode trading exchange.

Spreadwatt brings those together: a trader's view of electricity — buy it when it's cheap, store it, sell it when it's scarce — with the engineering to run that around the clock.
